In the beach library, you can take a book or magazine to your taste. Of course, leaving the place of rest, you need to return the book back. It is encouraged and allowed to replenish the funds of beach libraries with read their own books from the home archives. Lovers of reading are offered specially installed umbrellas, which are installed in remote places from the shore, isolated from the splashes of water and the noise of holidaymakers. At the end of the summer season, all publications will be transferred to special depositories, where they will wait for the next summer and new readers. In the beach library in Odessa there are about 400 books, some of them in a foreign language, designed for tourists from neighboring countries. On the beach, "Gold Coast" is allowed to take books with them to read the house, then return it back or bring another work from the home library in exchange.

This project greatly facilitates the lives of tourists and ordinary people who like to lie in the sun, because now there is no need to take heavy books from home. The funds of the beach library are completed with literature for every taste. The functioning of the European beach library is based on the principle of the usual reading room. Anyone can completely free to take a book or a magazine for rent. Leaving the place of rest, the reader undertakes to return the book to its place. For the convenience of beach lovers on the coast, separate secluded corners are created, equipped with beach umbrellas. These places reliably protect bibliophiles from noise, wind and sea spray. In addition, the organizers gladly supplement the funds of beach libraries at the expense of books taken as a gift from readers. After the end of the beach season, all literature is returned to the public libraries of the city. The Odessa's wooden library has a fund of 400 book units. Visitors are offered a wide variety of literature: from the latest detective novels of Darya Dontsova to the immortal works of Russian and world classics. Foreign tourists can find books for themselves in their native language.
