Its territory occupies more than 40 hectares of land, and according to its configuration it resembles a star. This fort was built first of all and was intended to protect the city from land. Then the tour passes through the forts of Bazzera and Manin, during which during the First World War gunpowder was stored, goes through the most beautiful places and watchtowers to Fort Carpenedo, where the military were reconstructed barracks of the XIX century, and passes to the forts of the lagoon. Fort SantAndrea, for example, is located between the amazing beauty of the islands - right at the entrance to the lagoon, which shows its advantageous strategic position in the city's defensive system. Artists literally soared under the sky of Gorky Park. In total, more than 100 artists of various genres took part in the Moscow festival of street theaters. Among them, the theater team from Italy Cantiere Ikrea (typical street theater del arte) and Teatro Pavana from Venice with a traditional carnival procession. Anyone could visit the festival. It was held in open areas of three metropolitan parks. All performances were free. According to the organizers, the festival is intended to introduce Muscovites and guests of the capital to the genre of street theater, which is very popular all over the world. It is expected that the festival will be an annual event. Each summer, one of the weekends, everyone can become witnesses of unusual street shows.
