Small vessels at the surface of the skin remain practically without food. This can be seen by the exhausted training of a man whose skin has a pale color after strong overloads. The amount of water consumed during training should be clearly agreed with the trainer, because the excess water in the body is also harmful. To quench thirst in the room is best purified by still water, drinking small portions in a few mouthfuls and only in moments of sheer discomfort, when the throat feels dry.
