At the World Cup-2014, 16 national teams were announced. At the qualifying stage they are all divided into two groups - A and B - in each will be eight teams. Inside the groups, each team will play 7 games. Consequently, 28 games will be held in each group.

In case of victory, the team will receive 3 points, and itsopponent points will not be accrued. In overtime, both teams will receive 1 point each. Meanwhile, the team that scored a goal in the shootout series, will earn another 1 point in its piggy bank.

At the moment there are known schedules of games withspecific teams only for the 2014 qualifying round. Participants in the quarter finals and finals will be known during the championship (tentatively on May 20). Games playoffs will begin on May 22, and the final of the tournament will be held on May 25.
