The first question that anyA person coming to an unfamiliar city - what are some interesting places worth visiting? In this article I would like to highlight some of the sights of the beautiful city on the Volga River of Saratov.
The most important sight of the cityVictory Park is considered. It is dedicated to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. The park, more precisely, a forest park area, is located on a hill, in the center of which there is a monument with cranes dedicated to our heroes. The park is a museum of military equipment, as well as a huge forest park, stretching for several tens of kilometers. Here hundreds of Saratovites come to rest daily, and on weekends and holidays there are thousands of visitors. Entrance to the territory is free.
No less attractive place in the city is acceptedThe Embankment of the Cosmonauts. It stretches along the central part of the city. Here the guests of our city can see a beautiful view of the Volga and its surroundings, as well as the Saratov-Engels bridge. This recreation area is well equipped for walking with children, there are many attractions and cafes. Sports fans can also have a great time. On the Embankment various constructions are installed for any sports. Every day many athletes train here in the mornings.
Where else can you go, come to our glorioustown? Of course, this is the central pedestrian street of the city - Prospekt Kirova. A great place where a lot of cafes, shops and clubs are gathered. Where to go? Lipki Park. A great time for leisure.
In the city there are beautiful cultural places - these are theaters, circus, conservatory, philharmonic society. Fans of culture and creativity will not be bored for sure.
I want to note that the city is located on the right bank of the Volga, so in the summer you can definitely relax on the beaches of the city, and we have three of them!
