Prague is good at any time of the year, but in some seasons the weather there is especially pleasant.

In Prague there is a mild temperate continentalclimate. Winters are quite warm, in summer usually a pleasant temperature holds, there is almost no heat, but rains are not uncommon. In March, the spring comes, and in December the first snow falls, although there are seasons when it is late, then city flowers last until the new year.

The best time to visit Prague is summer. In the warm season it's nice to walk around the city, all the museums work, and restaurants and cafes set tables for open air. In the bars you can taste wonderful local beers. Summer time is ideal for visiting such attractions as the parks of the city, Prague Castle, Vyšehrad, various squares, Petřín Hill, Jewish Castle. Visits to the surrounding castles, which are in plenty around Prague, are also most convenient to do in the summer. If you arrived in the warm season, be sure to take a walk along the Vltava River, from which unforgettable views of the city will be opened! But do not forget to bring an umbrella and a light jacket: the weather can suddenly change.

Autumn in Prague is also very good, especially the first oneIts part. The day is still very warm, but the nights are already cool. But in the autumn the theatrical season opens, and this will appeal to lovers of art. Also autumn is the best time for shopping, this is the best season for sales enthusiasts. The prices for hotels are slightly reduced, but not so much that it would help to save significant funds. Many museums in the fall are still open, so this is the perfect time to visit them, if you do not like crowds of tourists.

Winter in Prague is usually snowless. Snow falls, but does not linger. Nevertheless, a number of museums in the winter time does not work. It is believed that Prague in the summer looks more beautiful than in winter, but if you are lucky enough to see fresh snow, then you can safely argue with this statement! Winter is an excellent time to visit the beer gardens and restaurants of the city. It is especially pleasant to stroll along the cool streets to the hotel after a good portion of delicious dishes of national cuisine. An additional advantage: hotel prices and excursions have already fallen quite a lot, you can save a lot. The exception is the New Year and Christmas: this is a high season in Prague.

Spring in Prague refers to the transition season. The city is getting ready for the summer, prices for the guests are gradually growing. The weather is usually very good for walking around the city. Many more museums are open than late autumn. In the spring an important event takes place, to which beer lovers from all over the world come to Prague - this is the Beer Festival. It lasts three weeks, begins in mid-May and ends in early June.
Tip 2: Lettuce puff "Prague"
Puffed salads are traditionally considered festiveDishes. This unusually delicious layered salad is distinguished by its exquisite taste and can become a real decoration of the festive table. The dish is prepared quickly and simply, and is eaten literally at one point!
You will need
- - boiled chicken breast - 400 g;
- - 2 pickled cucumbers of medium size;
- - 1 small onion;
- - 1 carrot;
- - 1 egg;
- - prunes 10 pieces;
- ¾ cup of green peas;
- - mayonnaise.

Chicken egg and carrots pre-boil andclear. Steam the prunes with boiling water, leaving for 15 minutes to swell. When all the ingredients are prepared, you can start laying out the layers of lettuce. It is better to use a flat dish for this salad.

Put the finely chopped chicken breast on the bottom and cover with a layer of cucumbers rubbed on a large grater. On cucumbers put a finely chopped onion and cover everything with mayonnaise.

On a layer of mayonnaise put the grated egg on a large grater, cover with a layer of grated carrot and grate again with mayonnaise.
