Rest in Russia: getting to know Peterhof
On the southern shore of the Gulf of Finlandthe favorite city of Peterhof. It was founded in the beginning of the 18th century as a country residence of the emperor, and the status of the city was given to Peterhof in the second half of the 18th century.
Petergof owes his appearance to Peter the Great, but in the heyday of the city, the reign of Nicholas I.
