How to recognize the ownership of a car
Confirmation of the right Property on the vehicle is a document,issued to the new owner when the car is registered with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate. But if you, having bought a car, for some reason did not do this, you have a chance to obtain recognition of the property right through the court.
You will need
- - passport;
- -Documents confirming the purchase of the car: depending on the situation, a bill from a car dealership, a sales contract, a seller's receipt for receiving money or another;
- - statement of claim;
- - money for payment of state duty.

Assess the evidence that you canProvide the court with evidence of the fact that you purchased the car. It is best if you have any documents on hand: a sales contract, a certificate from a car dealership, a seller's receipt for money for a car. If the documents are not preserved or they did not exist, try to find witnesses who can confirm the fact of the transaction. But keep in mind that the court has more faith in the documents.

Write a statement of claim. Indicate in it when and under what circumstances you acquired car, how the deal was drawn up and how you can confirm the facts presented. Do not forget to include in the claim a request to recognize you right ownership of the car. You can do this with the help of a lawyer (a friend or lawyer, a specialist from a legal advice, paying for his services), or, if you are confident, prepare the document yourself.

Pay the state fee. Its size and requisites for payment you can specify in the office of your district court.

Bring the statement of claim, all documents attached to it and a receipt for payment of the state duty at the reception hours to the office of the court for civil cases.

On appointed days, go to court before deciding on your case. If it does not satisfy you, you have the right to appeal it in the courts of higher jurisdiction up to the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation.
