  • - A computer;
  • - a flash drive or DVD-ROM;
  • - utility DVD to USB v.2.0.

Instructions

There are several ways to install an operating systemsystem with the image. To implement the first method, you should have a flash drive with a minimum of four gigabytes. Download from the Internet a proprietary utility from Microsoft, called DVD to USB v.2.0, and is completely free. After downloading, run the installation of the utility. During the installation, you must register the program. To do this, enter your email address and username.

2

Run the program. In its main menu, click on the browsing button and specify the path to the image of the Windows 7 operating system. Then go on. Now you need to select the place where you want to burn the OS image. Select your flash drive. Wait until the operating system image is written to the USB device. After that you can proceed directly to the installation.

3

First you need to open the BIOS menu. To do this, on the initial screen of turning on the computer, press the Del key. If the BIOS does not open after pressing this key, it means that you should use another key on your motherboard. You can find out about this from the instruction manual of your motherboard.

In the BIOS, you need to choose to boot the system fromflash drive. To do this, set the First Boot Device parameter to 1 to the USB parameter. After that, exit the BIOS. When you exit, do not forget to save the settings. The computer restarts and the operating system installation starts automatically. The process of installing the OS from a USB flash drive does not differ from the action performed from the boot disk.

If you do not have a USB flash drive, you can usean ordinary DVD-ROM. Simply insert the media into the computer's drive, but in the DVD to USB menu instead of the flash drive, select the drive. After that, the image will be written to the media, and you will have a full boot disk with the operating system Windows 7.
