If you work with documents in pdf formatit is planned quite often, it's best to install in the computer an editor capable of reading, creating, editing and converting files of this type. Such an application can be, for example, Foxit PhantomPDF. After downloading and installing it into your operating system to launch the program and open a pdf file in it, which you want to convert to text format, use the usual method - double-click on the file.

To transfer content in text formatopen document in any other editor (for example, Notepad or Microsoft Word), use the clipboard of the operating system. To do this, select all the text using Ctrl + A and copy it by pressing Ctrl + C. Then switch to the window of the desired program and paste the converted text into the desired place with the Ctrl + V combination.

If necessary, save the document to a filetext format, open the corresponding dialog using the "hot keys" Ctrl + Shift + S. In the "File type" field, set the value of TXT Files. Checkboxes in this form allow you to select the range of saved pages - leave the settings unchanged, if you want to save the full text, otherwise set the desired values. Click the "Save" button.

If you want a one-time conversion of onedocument or the need for this operation is rare, you can do without installing additional software. Use online services that offer this service for free. For example, go to http://doc2pdf.net/PDF2Word, scroll down and click the Convert File button. A standard dialog will open, with which you need to find the desired pdf-file in the computer, select it and click the "Open" button. This will be enough - the script for downloading the selected document will automatically work on the server and after a few seconds a large button with a red Word file will appear in the page. Click it, and the converted text will open in a Microsoft Word word processor.
