Gadget is a mini-application that extends the possibilitiesindividual programs or the operating system. For example, the installation of gadgets is supported by the Opera browser, as well as Windows 7. To install them, you need an Internet connection.

On a computer running Windows Vista orXP will have to install an additional free program Thoosje Windows 7 Sidebar to use gadgets for Windows 7. You can download it on the official developer site (thoosje.com). After installing the program on the desktop of your computer will appear a panel similar to the one that is designed for gadgets in Windows Vista. It is in it and will be installed mini-applications for the new operating system.
