How to make a carousel for shoes

If desired, you can make an original device for storing shoes. The cost of materials in this case is quite small.

How to make a shelf with your own hands

Try to make a functional and roomy shelf, which in its structure resembles a merry-go-round. Many pairs of shoes fit comfortably in it - at the same time to find necessary easy. Just scroll the design a little to find out what's right. You can place such a shelf simply in the hallway, or put it in the wardrobe. "Carousel" is made up of rounded sections made of fiberboard, they insert round pins or one rod in the middle.

To make the shelf you needmaterials: sheets of fiberboard, metal pins, self-tapping screws. Determine the dimensions for the future product - for example, if you plan to place it in a cabinet, take into account the dimensions of the cabinet. Draw a drawing of the shelf, or even better, a drawing.

What is needed to make the shelf

Take a prepared sheet of fiberboard. From it you need to cut out the blanks of the size that are reflected in the drawing - these are circles and quadrilaterals. With the help of a rod and a circular, make notes for future holes where the pins will be installed.

On the central spindle, the support discs can befix with smaller disks located at the correct height. They must also be cut from the fiberboard - the diameter should be half the size of the support circles. Smaller circles are set from below and from above more.

The build order will look like this: the bottom is prepared first. It can be made from anything - for example, install on wheels or make a design with bearings. To get one "floor" of the shelf, the quadrangular billets are installed vertically and attached to the bottom using metal corners. You can arrange the workpieces in random order, dividing the base into 3-4 parts so that you can place three, four or more pairs of shoes. On top of the rod is superimposed one more disk, the fastening is also done with the help of corners.

So you can build as many "floors" of the shelf as you need. The last disc, put on the rod, is fixed with a nut and washer. In the end, the shelf can be painted or varnished.
