Holland, or the Netherlands, signed the Schengenagreement. All Russian citizens need a visa to visit these territories, but if you have a sticker from another country from Schengen, then you do not need a visa to go to Holland separately. For tourist visa (category C) you need some documents.

Application form for issuing a visa. To be completed by hand or on computer, in English, Dutch or German. On the questionnaire, you need to paste a photo with a size of 35x45 mm, made according to special rules. Attach one more photo to the questionnaire using a paper clip. Sign the questionnaire.

A medical insurance policy that is valid throughout your trip. The amount of coverage should be at least 30 thousand euros.

Tickets in both directions (by plane, train or ship). You can attach a photocopy of tickets, or you can print from the site. Tickets with an open date are not accepted.

Reservation of the hotel for the entire stay in the country. If your route runs through several countries, then you need to attach the reservation from the hotels in these countries too. These can be faxes, originals or printouts from the Internet.

Those who are on a private visit should receivean invitation from the Netherlands, legalized by the municipal authorities of the country. A copy of the page with personal data from the Dutch passport of the inviting person is attached to the invitation. If a person is your relative, documents are attached that prove this.

Confirmation of financial solvency. For consideration, bank statements and traveler's checks are accepted. The money should be at least 38 euros per day.

Usually this is a certificate on the company letterhead of the organization, which indicates your experience, salary, position, as well as contact details of the director and accountant of the company. Individual entrepreneurs need to provide a certificate of registration and tax registration, as well as a copy of the TIN.

Pensioners must attach a copy of the pension certificate, students a student card and a certificate from the university, and students - a certificate from the school.
