This type of leave must be paid in10 days after the woman brought a sick leave sheet to work. If the employer does not manage to pay the money in this period, he is obliged to transfer all the means not later than the day of the nearest payment of wages.
Small companies may not havethe moment of submitting an application of this amount, but in this case the head must contact the Social Insurance Fund to ensure that the money was paid directly to the employee. The allowance is paid once for all 140 days of leave. In the calculation it is necessary to take 100% of the average daily earnings of a woman for the previous 2 calendar years.
After the termination of the sick-list, the young mother hasthe right to write an application for a child care leave for up to 1.5 years and receive a monthly allowance of 40% of the average monthly earnings. This type of cash payments must be transferred to the employee each month at the same time as the other employees receive wages.
If the employer does not pay the allowance on time
Sometimes it happens that the maternity allowance is strongare delayed or not going to pay at all. For a pregnant woman or a young mother this is a great stress. But she must know that the law is on her side and she can always defend her right to receive benefits.

If the employer persistently refuses to pay benefits, a woman can apply to the court.
