Cake with kiwi and walnuts

Biscuit cakes in combination with kiwi and walnuts will be an excellent dessert for the festive table.

Cake with kiwi and walnuts

You will need

  • - 5 pieces. kiwi;
  • - 200 g butter butter;
  • - 4 eggs;
  • - 1 teaspoon of baking powder;
  • - 200 g walnuts;
  • - 1.5 cups of flour;
  • - 1 cup of sugar;
  • - 1.5 cups of sour cream;
  • For cream:
  • - 4 egg yolks;
  • - 200 g of sugar;
  • - half a glass of flour;
  • - 1 teaspoon vanillin;
  • - half a liter of milk.

Drain the butter until softroom temperature. In a separate bowl or mixer, whisk eggs with sugar until a white shade is obtained. Continue to whip continuously. Then add the sour cream, butter and baking powder.

Sift flour and add in small portions inthe bulk. Continue to beat until a uniform consistency is obtained. Divide the prepared dough into three equal parts. Take a detachable circular shape, lay out on the diameter of parchment paper, pre-lubricated with oil.

Pour one part of the dough into a mold, put it in a well heated to 200 degrees oven for 15-20 minutes. Then bake 2 more cakes. Allow the finished products to cool completely.

While baked cakes, cook the cream. To do this, in a bowl, boil the milk, then cool slightly. Separate the proteins from the yolks. In a separate pan, rub the yolks well, add sugar, vanillin and flour and mix well again. Then, with constant mixing, pour in hot milk. Place the saucepan on a slow fire and cook the cream continuously stirring until thickened for 10 minutes.

Kiwi peel and slice thineven circles. Walnuts clean, grind with a knife to a large crumb. Grease all the cakes with cooked cream, from above evenly lay out kiwi mugs. Carefully put them on top of each other. Top with chopped nuts. To make the cake soaked well, put it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
